Special Occasions are usually a combination of entertainment and speeches, and their production requirements share much in common with Corporate Events. Audio PA systems used for Special Occasions must clearly reproduce speech and have sufficient capacity to accommodate the band or other entertainment. Radio mics are recommended for speakers to enable them to move about and avoid cabling. FOH system size is scaled according to the venue. More elaborate systems have multiple loudspeaker sets distributed around the audience to achieve even sound coverage. Video Your Special Occasion may include video replay or live camera(s) displayed on large screens. Video replay (DVD &c) may include soundtrack, so the PA must be able to accommodate the required number of extra channels. Video display may be large plasma / LCD or projection onto screen. Recording You may want a DVD record of your Special Occasion.
